Offering an indoor pool and a fitness centre, Avani Metropolis Auckland Residences is 400 metres from Auckland Art Gallery and 400 metres from Skycity Auckland Convention Centre. Loved the building, especially the front entrance. Really enjoyed the room and the view of the water. Loved that it was close to everything and loved everything the city had to offer!

Location was brilliant, amazing views of the Auckland harbour/skyline, but away from the noise/traffic of the city. We travelled between Auckland city and north shore, so Andy’s house was perfect in the middle. The house was lovely and comfortable, there was a seperate lounge shared between us and one other room, which was nice to have a bit of privacy. Massive outside deck with table/benches to work in the day/relax in the evening. Breakfast was provided, along with all the tea and coffee you could want. Finally, the host family were amazing. Andy, his young son Alan (the little property manager), plus the whole family, were just wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to offer suggestions/help, or leave you alone, as you prefer. All in I would definitely stay again.

It is just a short walk to the beach. The apartment was top-notch. Loved the bed. The kitchen was a reasonable size for the apartment. It's surprisingly quiet. Really nice place to stay.

The apartment was great, excellent facilities and with everything we needed to a pleasant stay. Very well located, close to shopping centers and public transport. The apartment was very nicely decorated, comfortable and full of nice details. The host answered swiftly and kindly all of our requirements allowing an early check in. We would absolutely recommend this stay.

The bed, the aircon, bathroom, and amenities! Right on the harbour front near to the ferries. Only a 5 min walk to our favourite restaurant Oyster & Chop in the viaduct harbour and the rest of the CBD. The large corner terrace was incredible. Huge in size and perfect for each end of the day!

Friendly hosts, attention to detail with basic food left for us. The accomodation was extremely welcoming and comfortable for the family and off road parking plus being near to the beach and amenities was a bonus.

Fantastic apartment with view of harbor - easy to sit for hours just watching ferries come and go. The owners were excellent communicators. We had an issue with one appliance and they immediately responded to help diagnose and solve (problem was caused by a previous guest).

The Cottage was impeccably clean and the well equipped kitchen made preparing meals an easy enjoyable task. The bed was very comfortable and provided the best nights rest that I could have hoped for. I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.
