The location is well away from other camps and it is very discreet. (On the drive in, you will see other camps very close to the road, don't book those) Dinner and breakfast were delicious and our fussy children found the food excellent. We took the additional options of a 4WD transfer in and a sunset camel ride. We count ourselves lucky to have the camp to ourselves for the night, as we booked a Monday evening. The camp manager is very attentive.

Best of all is the camp owner, Rashid, who looks after his guests, is very funny and also quite the nicest person I’ve met in a long time. Highly recommended and very good value!

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the city. The property features barbecue facilities, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Sunset and sunrise is great frome hill (5 min from camp). Camp has free transfer from town! Said is a wonderful host. He organized an interesting unique accommodation in the desert, he organized a delicious traditional dinner and breakfast. And he also managed to create an atmosphere of friendship and unity between the residents. People from different countries gathered for dinner, breakfast and just casually and shared their impressions. Said is an interesting, positive, smart person who makes sure that his clients have fun and are interested! I would like to separately note that in the evenings it is great to sit by the fire, tell and listen to stories and admire the stars in the desert. This experience is priceless. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this desert camp!
