Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

We had such a great time at Thousand Stars Desert Camp. The place is absolutely beautiful — right in the middle of the dunes, super peaceful and perfect for watching the sunset and the stars at night. Our tent was cozy and comfortable, and everything was really well taken care of. But what made the experience truly special was Ali — he’s such a kind and genuine host! He made us feel completely at home. If you want a real desert experience with great vibes and an awesome host, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely come back one day!

Rashid, the owner, is a wonderful host. He has received us with great hospitality. We appreciated good food, committed staff, interesting talks during dinner. A very pleasant stay all in all!

Apresentando acomodações com ar condicionado, Wadi Bani Khalid - Al Joud Green Hostel encontra-se em Dawwah e dispõe de uma piscina privada. This place is excellent. A beautiful Omani-style house is close to the wadi. Huge suite bedrooms with a private bathroom, three different terraces, a swimming pool, and a place for kids to play. The location is quiet and calm, surrounded by mountains on the way to Wadi. At night, there is not much light pollution, so it is easy to watch the stars. There is a kitchen in case you want to cook something or have breakfast. I highly recommend this place. It is a perfect place to stay longer and relax after several days of a road trip. The owner waited for us, and he was very attentive, always fast-responding, and gave good advice and tips on what to visit..

The simplicity and yet comfort. If you want to experience the proper beduin lifestyle and sleep in a beautiful tent but still have the comfort of a bed and a private toilet this is definitely the place to be. There are other camps in the area with more amenities but the we loved the authenticity of this place.

The weather allowed us to sleep outside looking at the stars ,which was amazing. Food was great and everyone was very hospitable. Everything was prepared for our comfort . The location is great,we saw goats and camels walking in the desert and enjoyed silence and peace.
