The bed is big and the bathroom is equipped with everything and it’s a nice experience to go to the bathroom at night and see the stars. We also had dinner and I would recommend it. It was delicious and after that we had a camp fire with marshmallows and guitar songs. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I recommend to stay here for an awesome Oman desert experience.

You leave the tent and go up the sand dunes, watch the sunset, the sunrise if you want, or just walk on the dunes. I saw camels walking around nearby. There is electricity and decent phone signal. The owner came with his brothers at evening and we had tea, and there was some beduin singing around the fire. I also took a 3 hour tour with them, and we visited beduins further out in the desert.

Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We absolutely loved our stay at Wahiba Bedouins private camp, it more than exceeded our expectations. We spent two nights at the camp as part of a 2 1/2 week trip to Oman. We were met in town by Muhammad, the brother of the camp owner, who is very proud of the camp. We followed him in our 4x4 as he escorted us to camp. Upon arrival we were taken to the sun shelter and were served coffee, dates and refreshments. There was always plenty of food and drink for our entire stay. The camp consists of two guest tents, a dining tent, daytime sun shelter, kitchen tent and bathroom shelter with shower. Everything is done in a traditional way and is spotlessly clean. Muhammad is justifiably proud of his camp and how it is run. We also met Hasan at the camp. He is the camp cook but does much more than that. Hasan has a very engaging personality and always has a smile on his face. He regaled us with stories and answered any questions we had. Did I mention he is an outstanding cook! we enjoyed some of the best meals on our trip at the camp including a camel biryani (sorry vegetarians, plenty of veggie options as well). We chose this camp because it is small and we really wanted to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert, and that is exactly what we experienced. another highlight was an excursion to Muhammad’s village/oasis where he has a house and they have date palm trees, mango and other fruit trees, as well as grow alfalfa for the goats and camels. The visit was another highlight as was driving amongst the dunes in the desert. Thanks to Muhammad and Hasan for a truly memorable experience.

Very sustainable setting, great, easy and beautiful huts, very little light in the night, which we liked a lot, all very clean. Humied was a very welcoming host, explained many desert facts and made us a sweet little picnic between the camels with fresh karak and dates in the sunset in the desert. We loved his very well kept camels, friendly and strong! We like to warmly recommend this camp!

Getting picked up to share the tasty meals nearby was wonderful and integrated perfectly. The entire staff were lovely, especially Humied. He answered every question and was probably the funniest host I’ve encountered. I loved the camel ride and the dune bashing! The transfer was smooth as well. Well worth the added price. This place has it all and its people are lovely. I wish I would’ve stayed longer.
