Taking a snorkel after a freshly prepared breakfast is a dream, some great little restaurants and mini beaches right on the island within walking distance and everything else is a short hop on the boat taxis that can be hailed right from the dock, this is the perfect place to stay in Bocas

Set in Bluff Beach, 6 km from Bocas Town, Oasis Bluff Beach features unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Amazing! It was exactly what we were looking forward to and even more. Special thanks to the staff, who created such a great atmosphere, always friendly, attentive, and full of helpful recommendations. Choy, who speaks great English, answered all my questions beforehand, even helped me plan a special surprise for my partner and made sure we were having the best time throughout our stay. Alex, Jonathan, and José also provided fantastic service, always engaging and welcoming. Our favorite moments were definitely during the meals. The kitchen team did an amazing job with every dish. The food was incredibly tasty, creative, and beautifully prepared. The place itself is peaceful and relaxing, right in front of a beach where you can take long walks, surrounded by nature. There are also bikes available to explore the area and a ping pong table for some extra fun, even on rainy days. Oh, and they have nice background music. Everything was spotless, clean, well taken care of, including a beach view that added a perfect touch to the full experience. Thank you, Oasis Bluff Beach team!

Located on Bocas del Toro, Barrbra BnB Over The Sea is a 2 story house built directly over the sea. The house includes 4 rooms on the 2nd floor. Absolutely fabulous stay, loved every second of it and I struggle to think of anything they could have improved on to be honest. We were there for two nights and were the only guests who didn’t heed the news of the civil unrest en route and boy did it pay off! After communicating with Marco we knew it was safe to continue travel to the ‘BnB’ and the journey was absolutely fine with no delays or disruptions. The benefit of us knowing the journey would be fine was that we had the whole place to ourselves, other than Marco and his team (Ray who makes the BEST breakfasts and their colleague whose name fails me right now, who sets the rooms up immaculately) there were also two adorable dogs and two beautiful cats on site (all local rescues) who all came together to make our stay feel just like home. Their tagline on the welcome guide full of local tips, recommendations and discounts is ‘Welcome Home’ and it was spot on! They have thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay as memorable and comfortable as possible and some. The weather wasn’t fully on our side for our stay but it was chilled, with beautiful views from both the open air deck and sheltered hammock area, impeccable service and we had practically the choice of the rooms, even after an immediate upgrade. The place is only a few minutes walk from the livelier centre but it’s 100% worth it, after extensive travel over the last 10 years this is comfortably the best all round experience I have had and I would recommend to anyone to book this wonderful property for your stay in Bocas Del Toro (and already have). Also worth noting that within the welcome guide there are discounts offered on recommended restaurants and activities in BDT, we benefitted from these twice in restaurants and once in a bar and they were 10/10, Marco even booked our onward transport from BDT at a far better price than we’d found ourselves.

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Great accommodation between sea and jungle, away from the city hustle. The only sound you hear are the sea waves and birds. The room was spacious and comfortable, the patio with kitchen was a huge plus, especially during rainy days. We loved that they changed our bed sheets every 2 days, which nowadays doesn't happen even in 4 or 5-star hotels. Nadia and Salvatore go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. They gave us a lot of tips for our tours and ways to explore the island. I can definitely recommend this place and would book it again!

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. The highlight of our trip to Panamá. The location is simply spectacular: set in a gorgeous, colorful garden, surrounded by jungle and with beautiful views of the bay from the rooms and upstairs dining area. The waters were super calm, clear (snorkeling was excellent) and - best of all - teeming with dolphins. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the amenities you could possibly need. Staff is super friendly. Meals are copious and delicious. The owner, Brian, is the nicest of guys and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as he possibly could. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora: a true community minded ecologist and a lover of good music and excellent cocktail maker to boot. Thanks again for a truly memorable couple of days Brian!

The house's yard has an amazing garden(like a small jungle). We even saw a few monkeys there. The house is located outside of the city's central part, about half our walk. However, the place is good and close to the seaside.
