Refugio de Mery Lucmabamba dispõe de acomodações em Sahuayacu, a 17 km de Huayna Picchu, 19 km de Santuário Histórico de Machu Pichu e 19 km de Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum. What a fantastic place. Yes it is a little hike up a hill, but we were received with warmth from the owners and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Three of us stayed in the refugios, and our two camping mateswithout a booking were given a safe place to pitch a tent. The rooms were extremely comfy, with many blankets and had an emsuite bathroom with endless hot water. Outside the room is a lovely balcony with massage rollers, exactly what was needed this stage in the trek. The food was the best food I have had on salkantay, very veg and vegan friendly. There are coffee tours on site and a little store that sells the cheapest bread and fresh fruit/veg.when we left Mery gave us all Oreos and a banana for the road.

I used the Sauna and did the weaving activity, and both were truly amazing! I was feeling a bit unwell due to the altitude and felt the sauna relieved some of my symptoms. The weaving was very special- we collected nearby plants to make the dye and was taught by the owners and one of the elders the full weaving process. Of course, the rooms and view were beautiful. I was blessed with Lama visitors in the morning which was very special! I am definitely coming back to try the other activities and spend more time.

Estela and her husband are wonderful and greeted us with a smile after trekking to Machu Picchu. Their warmth is a great touch you don't get at most hotels now. They were extremely accommodating holding our bags before we had even checked in. Also, they had hot showers which is difficult to find in Cucso. Highly recommend staying here!!

A wonderful place to stay in Cusco! We had initially booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 9. Very beautifully furnished rooms, comfy beds, perfectly clean, hot showers, amazing breakfast, friendly staff and a rooftop with a view. The location is a bit out of the center, about a 15min walk to the main square, but didn't bother us at all. Never felt unsafe walking between the center and the hotel. All together great value for money, 10/10!

Nós, viajantes individuais, geralmente temos maiores necessidades de informação e deslocamento. Felizmente a Sra. Dina me prestou todas as informações necessárias, mesmo antes de minha chegada, e o Sr. Mário realizou meu transporte para as águas termais e depois estação hidroeléctrica com seu tuque tuque, por um preço muito correto. Obrigado por tudo.
