Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay on Taquile Island.

I stayed in the Queen Room, the bed was very comfortable & warm, plenty of hot water with good pressure. The host is very lovely & accommodating. I forgot something in the room when I’m already on the way to Bolivia and she went the extra mile to help me get it back.

Hernan offer us a private guided tour of the islands, where we learned about the fascinating lifestyle and customs of the Uros people and explained to us how the islands are built. The food was another highlight—freshly prepared bread for breakfast and other local dishes that provided a taste of the region's culinary heritage. Overall, my stay on Uros Island was a perfect mix of adventure and serenity, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Peru. Depending on the season, the weather can be quite cold, but the accommodations come with a heater in the room, hot water and very warm blankets! The local community is accustomed to the colder temperatures, so it’s important to communicate your needs to them. They are very accommodating and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The island is real treasure, and my husband and I are are extremely grateful to have found this place.

Mother and son are the owners. The son was always available. To order a taxi, take us to the store or the chicken restaurant nearby. He was close to us and early in the morning to see us off and make sure everything was ok. Great guys. Highly recommend!
