The comfortable house is in a lovely garden with free roaming chickens. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off in the midday heat. The balcony was great for bird- and agouti spotting. A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons....

Loved every moment of staying here. The host whom I want to call Mama Rosa was just so nice, kind, and warm-hearted lady. On my arrival, she welcomed me with a warm hug and took a very good care of me. I had her home cooked dinners and breakfast (20 soles each). Her cooking was lovely and filling. I can see why everyone who stayed in this place was so satisfied and happy. I recommend Rosa's House 100% and more.

Sheyla and her parents were fantastic hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfasts changed every morning and always included fresh juice, and lunches and dinners were available at a cost of s/25. The mosquito net in my room kept out all mosquitoes during the night. There was a cold spell, so I was given extra blankets to keep warm at night. Sheyla was excellent at coordinating tours into the jungle, which were reasonably-priced. I enjoyed seeing monkeys and birds on the property, and the family kitten was a nice bonus. The property is off the beaten track so it was nice and quiet all the time.

Animals and staff were lovely, I'm in love with the cats! it feels very eco friendly there too. Hang out areas are nice and the breakfast is great. Will be coming back more often :)

The room was wonderful, had everything I may need - comfortable bed, towels, blanket, table, chair, bathroom was right there as well and the kitchen is right outside. Raul, the host, was very sweet and helpful showing me where to get food, we talked a lot about the animals in the jungle that I saw on my tours, and he gave me a ride to the airport. I had a much needed good quality break after living in jungle cabins for a while.

The staff at Tronco are absolutely exceptional. My girlfriend got ill just before we arrived, and everyone at Tronco was so accommodating, caring and incredibly understanding, despite us having to make multiple last minute changes to our stay and activities. They cooked special food to help with her illness, and also assisted with medical attention. Nothing was too much to ask. The accommodation is lovely, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food is excellent and the activities Tronco offer are fantastic. We only wish we could have done all of them! Everything is 10/10 and we would highly recommend staying with them for your visit to the Amazon. Thank you again everyone at Tronco.
