We were even picked up by our host from the airport and he took us back with all our luggage. Elmer and his family are very friendly, helpful and we felt a 100% safe and welcome all the time. The house is very clean, comfortable and we loved the hammocks and the pool. The best thing of all, what we discovered later on, are the tours he organises. Very IMPORTANT!!!!! Book the tours at his place since they are perfectly organised and better than similar once in get your guide. We did two tours and we got professional guides who really knew what they do!!!! We regret not having known that from the beginning. Communication was always very smooth and easy. We will definitely return!!

A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons....

The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need. It's nice to hang around in the frontjard and relax a little.

Each room includes a terrace with views of the garden. The staff at Tronco are absolutely exceptional. My girlfriend got ill just before we arrived, and everyone at Tronco was so accommodating, caring and incredibly understanding, despite us having to make multiple last minute changes to our stay and activities. They cooked special food to help with her illness, and also assisted with medical attention. Nothing was too much to ask. The accommodation is lovely, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food is excellent and the activities Tronco offer are fantastic. We only wish we could have done all of them! Everything is 10/10 and we would highly recommend staying with them for your visit to the Amazon. Thank you again everyone at Tronco.

The apartment has family rooms. Sheyla and her parents were fantastic hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfasts changed every morning and always included fresh juice, and lunches and dinners were available at a cost of s/25. The mosquito net in my room kept out all mosquitoes during the night. There was a cold spell, so I was given extra blankets to keep warm at night. Sheyla was excellent at coordinating tours into the jungle, which were reasonably-priced. I enjoyed seeing monkeys and birds on the property, and the family kitten was a nice bonus. The property is off the beaten track so it was nice and quiet all the time.

He took me on a tour of the city, made me coffee every morning, had great knowledge of the Amazonian animals and plants, dropped me off at the airport and was a lovely man who made me feel very welcome! The accommodation is very homely and peaceful which is lovely to chill out at. Beautiful garden with shaded areas to relax. My room had a fan and AC machine, comfortable bed, towels, extra toilet roll and was a very clean and comfortable room. Had a great stay here, and ended up booking an extra 2 nights! Definitely recommend! Thank you ☺️
