They told us about life on the island and showed us where we could go for the most beautiful walks. Food was great and bed was comfortable and warm with view over the lake and sunrise. We stayed two nights and I highly recommend this!

There is a private entrance at the country house for the convenience of those who stay. The country house has family rooms. Quechuas Lodge is definitely one of the best accommodations we had on our entire trip. The rooms are basic, but incredibly cozy. The love that has been put into it, the friendly hosts, the terrace with a daybed and a table and chairs are perfect for switching off. The short tour with the host was also very interesting and a lot of fun. The host mother and the children were also incredibly nice and accommodating. The food tasted great, was reasonably priced and great to eat on the terrace. Yes, it's basic, but that's exactly what we wanted here. 10/10!!!

The bed and breakfast provides mountain views, a sun terrace and a 24-hour front desk. Mario and his wife were wonderful hosts! The rooms were clean and the water was hot. Mario greeted us at the port and walked us to his home. Excellent location close to the center where lunch is served daily. Mario made us nice breakfast and dinner daily. Great location to walk and enjoy the scenery.

It is situated less than 1 km from Bus Station and provides luggage storage space. The rooms include a balcony with garden views and free WiFi. Good location, ca. 10 minutes away from the plaza de mayor. Spacy room with big bed. The owner is very nice, speaks very good English and is really helpful. He cares a lot about the guests, gives advice, helps to cach a taxi and makes sure the driver will drive us exactely where we need. We were leaving early in the morning, and he prepared for us snacks for the bus in place of the breakfast which we had to skip.

Hernan offer us a private guided tour of the islands, where we learned about the fascinating lifestyle and customs of the Uros people and explained to us how the islands are built. The food was another highlight—freshly prepared bread for breakfast and other local dishes that provided a taste of the region's culinary heritage. Overall, my stay on Uros Island was a perfect mix of adventure and serenity, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Peru. Depending on the season, the weather can be quite cold, but the accommodations come with a heater in the room, hot water and very warm blankets! The local community is accustomed to the colder temperatures, so it’s important to communicate your needs to them. They are very accommodating and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.

I instantly felt so welcome- José Luis helped me to organise my transport and picked me up from the boat too. I had delicious meals made by Pilar, and it was so special to eat and talk altogether with other guests. The island and this home is extremely peaceful and beautiful. I am so grateful that I was able to stay here and with such a kind family.

The hosts were friendly and went over and above for our stay. They organised our tour to Uros, the floating islands and Taquile Island. They came with us to interpret as we only spoke english. The room was warm and very comfortable. The shower was warm and clean. We ate meals there at a very reasonable price. The food was very good. We met other guests from other countries and had an excellent time. We would highly recommend this property and thank the hosts for an excellent stay.

The rooms overlook a patio and, most importantly, the lake view is heavenly. Sophia is an incredible person, who will do everything to pamper you and share her culture, especially her delicious cuisine. A must-do excursion on this peaceful island steeped in history.

Contemporary with a nice kitchen and dining area. On the second floor is a living room with an impressive view of the lake. Beds they are big and comfortable. Mother and son are the owners. The son was always available. To order a taxi, take us to the store or the chicken restaurant nearby. He was close to us and early in the morning to see us off and make sure everything was ok. Great guys. Highly recommend!
