Richar told us about the island and showed us around, Lucrezia’s cooking is truly wonderful and Isabella is a very nice girl, who would play cards with us in the evening. The rooms are very clean, there is a hot shower and it’s an easy walk from the port of Amantani. The island itself is so peaceful and tranquil, a perfect rest. At night the stars are magestic with Milky Way visible with naked eye. I would highly recommend staying at Richar’s place to experience the magic of the island in its authenticity. Also, from what I’ve read it is much better for the families who live on the island to book a stay directly with them rather than through an agency.

It was unique experience ti stay there in the Siri’s island. From Manuel we learnt a lot about the history of Urus,about local people. It was amazing to stay and relax and to see the amazing Titilaka lake. We did kayaking thanks to Manuel. We even swam in titilaka.we went with the motor boat to see the local people and hid they live. Manuel family is very hosting and welcoming people. 100% everyone should try.

The rooms were clean and the water was hot. Mario greeted us at the port and walked us to his home. Excellent location close to the center where lunch is served daily. Mario made us nice breakfast and dinner daily. Great location to walk and enjoy the scenery.

The island's tranquil atmosphere is perfect for relaxation, and the stunning views of Lake Titicaca at sunrise are breathtaking. Hernan offer us a private guided tour of the islands, where we learned about the fascinating lifestyle and customs of the Uros people and explained to us how the islands are built. The food was another highlight—freshly prepared bread for breakfast and other local dishes that provided a taste of the region's culinary heritage. Overall, my stay on Uros Island was a perfect mix of adventure and serenity, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Peru. Depending on the season, the weather can be quite cold, but the accommodations come with a heater in the room, hot water and very warm blankets! The local community is accustomed to the colder temperatures, so it’s important to communicate your needs to them. They are very accommodating and will ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The house met all expectations and was truly a place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very kind and gave me a feeling of being welcomed. I can confirm all the excellent reviews of this place. The apartment is luxurious and it has its own bathroom with a hot shower and an eco toilet. The view is amazing. Isaac offered us a dinner. Also a good breakfast is available that includes fruits. The price included a short tour: Isaac explained to us the history of islands, lent us traditional clothes and did a tour around the lake on a traditional boat. Regarding pick up: Isaac picks you and brings you back from an old dock (it is on the right side of the Muelle tradicional Isla Esteves). From the Puno city center there are buses that cost only 1 sol to get there.

We like it a lot the apartment. Contemporary with a nice kitchen and dining area. On the second floor is a living room with an impressive view of the lake. Beds they are big and comfortable. Mother and son are the owners. The son was always available. To order a taxi, take us to the store or the chicken restaurant nearby. He was close to us and early in the morning to see us off and make sure everything was ok. Great guys. Highly recommend!
