I loved meeting Johnny's sweet mum and this is really a way to experience life in Ra'iatea. Johnny gave me a custom tour of the island. Bring mosquito repellent, as they are plentiful on the island. A net was provided, so I slept well.

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

Ralph is a former pearl diver and it was a delight to see what Cathy made with so many black pearls.

We had the pleasure of staying at Fare Tapu for three nights and absolutely loved our time there. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts who made us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful, featuring a private bathroom, a charming balcony, and a lovely view overlooking the swimming pool. After days spent exploring the island, the pool was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Fare Tapu offered the perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and genuine warmth. We would love to come back and stay again — highly recommended!

Guests can make use of a garden. This was one of the best accommodations I stayed in. It's an extremely clean, beautiful cozy small house in a really peaceful part of the island. The property itself is amazing with a great pool and amazing view, the owners are very helpful and nice. I would recommend it and would like to come again. Just keep in mind that you need a car or scooter because it's not close to the airport but it's a more interesting area than Uturoa.
