This is a VERY nice accommodation, it certainly exceeded our expectations! Comfortable mattress, high quality bedsheets and towels (comparable to those found in 4* hotels) and TV with Netflix for those evenings where you just want to chill after a long day in the heat! Not only is the room equipped with the essentials like a safety box, but is also has a mini fridge, an alarm clock, vanity kit, oh and yes, even blackout curtains for a very restful sleep! The manager was super nice and offered some great tips; he also helped us buy boat tickets and arranged for last minute transportation to the port. Location is convenient, a short walk to the beach, ATM and a few local bars and restaurants. Amazing value!!

The house itself is tastefully appointed with all the facilities you need for a peaceful stay. Including a generator for power interruptions common for a remote area in the Philippines. The location cannot be beaten for a view of Mt Kanlaon… stunning morning views. But the stay would not have been the same without the personal touches added by the caretaker Ryan. Ryan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He was also a perfect guide to visit secret natural wonders on the hike up the mountain/volcano. He was also able to arrange car hire for local sight seeing with a lot of great suggestions. It is quite isolated and as a foreigner Ryan was so helpful to provide cultural insights and translations for travelling in the area. Made us feel so much more at ease. Cannot recommend this place enough with Ryan as part of the package. He was respectful, helpful and responsive at all times. Thank you for everything. 🙏🏽

The place is modest but turned out to be very comfortable for us. It had everything we needed. The beds where comfortable and the Kitchen well stocked. Aircon worked good. TV was good. Hot water all around. Overall a comfortable two nights. Would come again.

We really loved our time here, situated up the mountain away from the noise and heat was perfect, close to all the great trekking trails and waterfalls all within walking distance, the place itself was immaculately clean and “A” Adrian is a very easy going and polite guy who gave us great recommendations for food and waterfalls to see. We were sad to leave after just 5 nights and would definitely come back as the area was our favourite in the Philippines.

Not too much because Shenanigans treats it guests like a common criminal. They make you turn over your id until you check out. The check out is too early, 1100am. This is way too early for a swimming resort. When I booked it I know it said 300 php for 2 breakfasts. But the next morning they told us that breakfast was not included and charged us 300 php for a tiny breakfast that wasn't very tasty. The driveway had speed bumps that bottomed out a motorcycle 🏍 and car with the possibility of breaking them. You can bring drinks into the place. Too many rules that prevents you from having a good time. Again, the make you pay a retainer to get a ping pong ball. Couldnt find sticks or balls for billiard table.
