Insanely cute!!! Every little design detail has been thought of. This property only has 3 rooms so it comes across as a private resort! All three rooms walk right out to the pool (your door is the sliding glass door shown in their pic) so it feels like your own private backyard. Loved the mini kitchen in the room and also the main common outdoor kitchen which we used daily. Also the property is within a little quiet residential neighborhood so it’s nice not to have to buzzing scooter noise and it felt very very safe. You can walk out of the neighborhood (5 minutes) to hail a trike or the onsite manager can call one for you. A thoroughly helpful welcome book has restaurant suggestions (including some that deliver), where to rent a scooter (which they will deliver!) and laundry service (again, deliver)! It felt so luxurious staying here. 10000% recommend.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Alona Apartments. The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10!

The restaurant is perfect. Good food. Recommend the restaurant, even if you don't stay there. People are lovely. Close to the big Island. Location is good if you drive your own scooter. They provide a good scooter. Otherwise you will need a tricycle.

The owners, Maikel and Vivian, are what makes this place so special. They are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to help make your stay perfect. One example would be when we wanted to hire a scooter. Maikel went with us to the shop next door, which had no scooters left. Rather than just point us in the direction of where to go next, he walked down the street with us, haggled at another shop to get a good price, and stuck around to check over the bike and make sure that we were happy with it. Apart from friendly owners, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. I thought the bed was especially comfortable. The location is a short walk (5 minutes or less) from Alona beach. This is our second time staying there and we would definitely come again if in Bohol.

We stayed in Family room with a double bed and bunk bed. Good for 4-5 . Rooms are spacious and super clean. Bathroom was good and clean. Hot water shower is always available. Towels provided. The place is very near to alona beach and all eateries. Best thing about this place is Host. Host James and his family and entire staff is so good and helpful. You will get positive vibes when you enter the place. James helped me in getting motorbike for rent from a nice lady nearby. Please rent motorbike from her. Their bikes are in excellent condition. We never faced any issue in 2 days. Host James can help you with everything including tours, suggestion of places on island, ferrry tickets and drop to Tagbilaran port. His suggestions were excellent.. We visited places that he mentioned and we had best time in Philippines at Panglao Nice breakfast is included with the stay. We are vegans and they provided us bread, jam, salad, fruits and juice which was more than enough for us.

Elvira and Alex was so friendly. Nice people with amazing heart. The place is amazing. They even helped us to rent a scooter, by which we went to chocolate hills and Tarsier conservatory. Would definitely stay there if we visit again.
