A stunning hillside retreat! We found Villa Manaaki incredibly relaxing, beautiful and an amazing introduction to La Reunion. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay really special, and their sense of humour and excellent English was exceptional! We’d stay here again without a doubt. The room with the outdoor shower was huge and we loved it.

The house is really cute, small but well designed. It also has a fenced-in outside area, and the friendly hosts gave us access to their beautiful pool, which was a huge perk!

Very helpful hosts, friendly and engaging, passionate about their home and island. We received a lot of information about La Reunion and precious tips for our hikes and drives. We spent two evenings together over dinner where we were introduced to fresh, outstanding local cuisine which we truly welcomed after our long days out exploring.

The hosts left us fresh baguette every morning. On the final day we had to leave very early and there was even a baguette on the terrace before 7 am! Can simply recommend this place

The accommodation is great! It is right a the beginning of the Canalisation des Orangers which goes to Mafate. The views from this route are astoundingly beautiful, but it took me the whole day to go there and back (and I woke up at 5!). You don't need to go all the way to Mafate though and you will still get a gorgeous walk. When you are back the Jacuzzi will be waiting for you.
