I stayed in thousands of different hotels and guesthouses. This is the first time that I give 10 points. The location is absolutely amazing ! Beautiful nature wherever you look. Even with the fog and the rain it was awesome. The silence , peace and calm were God sent. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable with 2 beds with good , solid mattresses. The balcony was nice for taking in the view. The heater was wonderful and provided a cozy temperature. The kettle was useful and the friendly hosts were so nice and gave us a welcome drink/snack.

For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. It's always amazing to have great mountain views greeting you early in the morning and the villa ticked this box perfectly. The housekeeping was done well and the rooms were very clean. In addition, the house was very quiet and away from the main road. There was a water supply interruption in the town but it was not David's (the host) fault. To his credit, he brought in containers of water supply for drinking and the toilet. Simply fabulous!

The warmth we experienced from Fissa, Antoine, and Tom was incredible! We felt genuinely welcomed and enjoyed two superb dinners with them. Sharing the table with other guests, we engaged in delightful conversations, although our french was almost not existing, and savored a glass (or two) of rum. Unforgettable! A special thank you to Tom, who provided unwavering support throughout our stay. Even when we faced a memory storage issue, he came to our rescue (and sacrificed his sleep ^^). The next little house is approximately 50 meters away, ensuring ample privacy. Ours even had a Jacuzzi, a delightful addition after a hike. We adore animals, so it was charming to see a lovely dog and a donkey strolling around. While the house and its furnishings weren't extravagant, they had everything you needed and, most importantly, were impeccably clean.
