We stayed for one night and really enjoyed it. The apartment was super clean and smelled great when we walked in. The bed was comfy, the sheets were fresh, and the place felt spacious and cozy. It had everything we needed – a kettle, gas stove, fridge – all in good shape. The location is perfect, close to shops and a street with bars, but still quiet at night. Check-in was super easy with clear instructions sent by the hosts. Great value for money. We'd definitely come back.

The grilled vegetables and fried cheese were full of flavor. The hosts were super lovely and the room very comfortable. We highly recommend Hanul Ancutei. These weary Australians loved it :-)

The location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape while still being close to all the attractions. The house itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore this beautiful region of Romania.

The building is communist era and looks less than welcoming from the outside and the hallway but trust the experience - the stay is great.
