Excellent value for money, we've been to Sovata so many times, and we paid much more for far less. The room was big and clean, large bathroom and they clean the rooms every day. Free parking and breakfast were a very nice bonus. It's also very close to the Ursu lake.

All hotel doors have keypads, no need to carry a key or a room card. While there is no traditional reception at this hotel, staff was responsive over the phone and was able to answer all my inquiries.

Located in a historic building, Casa Savri welcomes its guests with a blend of modern amenities and traditional Transylvanian Saxon architecture and décors. The property is spectacular in every aspect. Staff 1000*! The building is beautiful and, although very old, it looks wonderful due to the good care that the owners give it. Delicious and very well served breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of all points of interest in the city and also with easy access to parking and restaurants. Definitely a place to consider on a future visit to Romania.

Gasthaus Alte Post is located in the historic centre of Sighişoara, just 300 metres from the Clock Tower, and offers a restaurant serving local Transylvanian cuisine. Location is excellent, right next to the Citadel and main tourist area. Plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The property is charming, like an old inn with wooden floors. Room was very comfortable with down comforters and pillows. There was even a ductless Toshiba heater/air conditioning, which is very surprising in Europe. Mai heating done through radiators which was adequate. Bathroom showers has full closing glass doors which was nice. No slippery tiles. Small refrigerator in room. The included breakfast was more than adequate. Don’t miss fresh cider and local jam. I had dinner in the restaurant and the Spaghetti Carbonara was very good, with smoked Guanicale or pork cheek. The staff was polite but not very helpful in talking about local attractions. I think their awkwardness at their language skills must have embarrassed them. They were as helpful as expected. I was in shoulder season so it was quite empty. I like it that way. I suspect that the restaurants in the square get noisy at night.

Located a 5-minute walk from Sighisoara´s historical centre, Casa Adalmo offers free WiFi, free barbecue facilities, free air conditioning and a terrace. We loved it! The place is runned by a kind couple, they were very communicative. They let us leave the car inside during the night, and during the day after the checked out. It is located near 15 min by walk max to the centre. We invite on of their cats to sleep in our room, and honestly made my day 😄. The room is spacious, as well as the bathroom, and clean and spotless. We recommend it!
