It’s a fairly easy walk into town (25 mins?) if you don’t have luggage, and convenient for the ferry terminal. Definitely recommend.

The pool was a highlight—clean, inviting, and a great spot to relax. Having access to a washing machine made our stay so convenient, especially while traveling with children. We also loved using the barbecue area, which added a special touch to our evenings. The house itself was well-equipped and located close to everything we needed, from beaches to shops and restaurants, making it an ideal base for exploring Praslin. What truly set this place apart, however, was the amazing staff. Sonia went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including helping us arrange a car rental seamlessly. She was kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. The cleaner was equally exceptional—thorough, thoughtful, and such a warm, wonderful person. They made us feel at home and truly cared about our comfort. Maison Marie Jeanne offers the perfect combination of great amenities, a prime location, and unparalleled service. When we checked in, the host had cold water and juice in the fridge and snacks for us. There are 4 turtles living in the yard, which you can approach at any time

The property is located on the western side of the island and is very exclusive with direct access to the beach. Because of its location you can watch the sunset almost every day. The staff, especially Janette, is overwhelmingly kind and supportive whenever you need help or any other support. Our ground floor apartment had a foldable door to open up the bedroom to the rest of the apartment. Supermarkets and take-aways are easily accessible on foot.
