We loved the convenience of the flat and its location, just a short drive to Strömstad and with a beautiful sandy beach down the road. To top it off, our hostess was welcoming snd uncomplicated. I can recommend her apartment 100% and would love to come again for a longer stay.

The cabin is small but worked well for the 3 of us. It is was very clean and well organized. There were extra blankets and games to play. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen as we were there a very short time. It’s perfect for an overnight. There is one parking spot in front of the cabin which was convenient for unloading luggage. The owner was very sweet and accommodating for our arrival.

Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.
