Staff went above and beyond, even providing ice for my wife for a suspected insect bite. They were very helpful in planning our outings in the general area; very patient as our Slovenian wasn't that good.

We had the pleasure of spending two nights at *Guesthouse Planinski Dom Majerhold* in Logarska Dolina, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! From the very first moment, we were impressed by the attention to detail—both inside the guesthouse and in the beautifully landscaped garden. Nestled near the forest, wooden figurines placed at the edge create a magical story, inviting children to explore and let their imagination roam. Our hosts were extremely kind, always attentive to guests’ needs, and their hospitality made every moment special. The food was delicious, prepared with local ingredients, turning each meal into a true journey through the region’s authentic flavors. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And the view from the garden toward the mountains was truly breathtaking—a perfect place for relaxation and contemplation. Additionally, the guesthouse provides a children’s play area, and even an outdoor fireplace. The location is ideal for exploring Logarska Dolina Park, and the proximity to attractions such as Kapela Kristusa Kralja and Sveti Duh added even more charm to our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an oasis of tranquility, comfort, and authenticity in the heart of Slovenia..

Friendly host, we even got a welcoming gift. And not to forget cute dog Kala that greeted us every time. The issue with glass door described in some of the comments is now fixed. Definitely recommend staying here.

Super clean and fresh-smelling rooms, beautiful surroundings – a little stream right next to the house and deer walking around like it’s nothing. Totally magical! Breakfast was amazing – all local stuff: fresh eggs, bread, ham, cheese… everything delicious and homemade. But the best part? The lovely owner! She treated us like family – so warm, kind, and caring. We honestly felt like we were staying with close relatives, not in a guesthouse. I totally recommend this place to anyone. It’s one of those rare spots you just want to come back to.

The rooms were perfectly furnished with quality wood pieces that made it feel homey and welcoming and allowed for plenty of storage and unpacking spaces. The beautiful balcony allowed us to take in the scenery while enjoying the spectacular view. The shower was hot and strong and refreshing after a day hiking. Breakfast was lovely and the coffee was amazing!! The common spaces were wonderful and relaxing. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
