This was a last minute booking, I didn’t have time to read the reviews, for the money I was expecting less, but what a surprise, the room was very clean, nice bathroom, and cute cat decoration everywhere that makes you feel like home. The owner was very friendly and helpful answering questions about the city. I really enjoyed my stay!

Baan Jaru is located 500 metres from Clock Tower. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free public parking. We were staying for three days while visiting Chiang Rai. Our host was as super friendly and spoke perfect english (which is not that common here in Thailand). We got a lot of good and honest tips from him without them having an ulterior motive. Just for him we would probably come back as he also saved our day by getting us a short term transport to Chiang Mai. The breakfast options are few but everything that was there tasted good (Mostly fruit, toast and eggs). The rooms were clean, tidy and just what we expected. It’s also in walking distance to almost everything in the city center and therefore ideal for tourists. If we ever come back to Chiang Rai we would stay here again.

I was here for a full week. And it didn't disappoint. It looks exactly like the pictures and the staff is so lovely and kind. The food is good at the restaurant and I felt very welcome here. The bed is comfortable and the place is cleaned daily with a fresh supply of towels and other supplies as needed. The bath on the balcony is the best. The water is piping hot and the view is gorgeous! Everything was so clean and neat and the free breakfast is brilliant. There are soooo many options for good food for breakfast!

Amazing stay — the host and her mother treated me like family. They helped me book tours, arranged a motorbike within minutes of arrival, and made everything so easy. The place was super clean, quiet at night, and the room felt like a professionally staged designer suite. Couldn’t ask for more.

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. The breakfast was very healthy and fresh. Staff were very friendly and professional . I will always stay at this hotel. 5 star accomodation.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. She has a heart of gold. She has tried her best to make our stay pleasant. I really liked her love and compassion for stray rabbits. The most amazing part is she just don’t pet the rabbits because she likes to, but she adopts this rabbits those are really sick and people throw away into roads. She has almost 40+ rabbits inside the hotel. She has made separate homes for these rabbits. Breakfast was limited items but again worth every penny. Food was excellent and cheap. Yes the only disadvantage is it’s a little bit far away from mainroad. but you can hire grab easily from the hotel. So transportation is not a problem. I would suggest everyone to stay there if you are traveling chiang rai especially if you love rabbits.
