The family who runs the place are the sweetest. I was initially supposed to stay for 3 nights but extended it for 3 nights more. Everyone I met also had the same situation cause they loved the place and the family so much. I had a lovely time during New Year’s Eve with the family. This was one of the best new years I ever had. Every night sitting with the family by the fire place was one of the highlights of my stay. We also cooked together one of the nights cause they wanted to try traditional Turkish food. They are very open minded and super nice people. If you want to enjoy nature and experience Thai culture this is a place to stay. I think I will be back at a certain point.

Everything was good, moreover at a highly convenient price. If I could rate it with more than 10 I would do it. The facility is really nice and welcoming, the host set our room even before the check in time. The room was really big, clean, comfy bed and had a fridge with free drinking water provided. The breakfast was amazing and the landlady prepared a vegetarian meal for us. They also kindly offered to bring us to the airport for free. We had an amazing stay, you were the nicest people we met in Thailand. Thank you!

The cottage is clean and comfortable. The owners made this place special. It’s hard to find it on Google Maps but the owner will pick you up at the bus terminal. I arrived late and they made a tasty meal for me.

Located in a peaceful area of Chiang Rai, Gita's House offers a friendly guesthouse, a 15-minute drive away from the Bus Terminal. Gita's house is a real paradise in Chiang Rai. The staff is very kind and hospitable. The breakfast was rich. You can borrow a motorbike (for a fee) or bicycle (for free) there. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. Our stay was lovely, highly recommend!
