She even had to wait for us till 12:00am for a late checkin , I initially told her we would arrive by 9pm but due to delay in the trip we arrived at midnight, she was very understanding and provided tips about the road and where we can eat since it was very late. She gave us recommendations on where to buy dates from and souvenirs. The house was very clean which I really appreciated, all amenities available and she provided an amenity as Soon as we asked for it.

I spent a month in Tunisia, and this was the only place where I was able to appreciate the diversity of local cuisine as a vegetarian. Our stay was wonderful! And the location is perfect, from here you can visit the dessert, the salt flats and many canyons in a rental car, no need for 4x4 car and no need for expensive tours. The roads to most places have now been paved and unpaved roads are in good condition too. Thank you so much to Fatima for taking such good care of us from breakfast and dinners to extra blankets and helping us to get the best haircut!

We can definitely recommend staying at Dar Dguech. The hosts were lovely people. They were very friendly and flexible. We initially booked one night but love it so much, that we decided to extend our stay. The villa is beautiful and cosy. It has a pool, fruit trees, washing machine, BBQ place, etc. The host even gave us a private tour of the date factory next door that they own! Location is safe, quiet and practical if you have your own car. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful time at Dar El Caid and would definitely stay there again. It's such a beautiful place, with special decorative touches that give it a very unique feel. It's like a lovely little oasis tucked away within the medina. It was peaceful, clean, and very quiet, which I really appreciated, and there's even a cute resident turtle who hangs out near the pool. The staff are also exceptional.- kind and very welcoming. Issam made himself available at all hours and was willing to help in any way he could, even offering to bring me medication when I was sick for a day and arranging a personal tour to nearby sites when I felt better. His hospitality and service to the people who stay there are top-notch, and I hope his employer appreciates his dedication as much as I did. Because of him and everything else I've mentioned, I can say that I recommend this hotel without hesitation!
