We had a massive room and there was a washing machine in the King Suite that was quite useful to do laundry, however a clothesline to hang clothes would have been appreciated. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a luggage storage facility which is great and easy to use. We had an issue with the room key not working at the entrance and they were very responsive on Line. There’s a little plastic door on the card reader and you’re supposed to open it even though sometimes it works fine without opening it. The wifi is very good, we were working remotely and had video calls and had no connection issues. Highly recommend Chapter 127 for anyone who needs a place to stay in Tainan.

The location was very convenient, with easy access to the local transportation network. Service was friendly and, in its own way, attentive. Our room was clean, spacious, and the price felt fair for the level of comfort provided. We really appreciated the large kitchen and the shared fridge — both were very useful during our stay. Just outside the guesthouse, there was a small local restaurant that displayed its daily dishes along the street. From early in the morning, they were already selling delicious dumplings — probably some of the best we had in Taiwan! Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we’re happy with our choice.
