Very nice place to stay with lovely staff. We had a massive room and there was a washing machine in the King Suite that was quite useful to do laundry, however a clothesline to hang clothes would have been appreciated. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a luggage storage facility which is great and easy to use. We had an issue with the room key not working at the entrance and they were very responsive on Line. There’s a little plastic door on the card reader and you’re supposed to open it even though sometimes it works fine without opening it. The wifi is very good, we were working remotely and had video calls and had no connection issues. Highly recommend Chapter 127 for anyone who needs a place to stay in Tainan.

Fun Simon is located in Tainan, 800 metres from Tainan Confucius Temple. Each room at this homestay is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Really helpful staff, the bed was really comfortable and great located.

Super nice host, took a lot of time explaining us the area and giving us recommendations of things to see and do and places to eat. Even gave us a ride to the night market one night! New hotel, very clean with great amenities and comfortable. Even had a little balcony to dry clothes. Located right behind a morning market area we went to and had coffee and snacks, and a close walk to a YouBike station. Awesome place to stay in Tainan to check out the area! Thanks for having us!

The building has been recently built (in 2023), everything is brand new and extremely clean. The place is right in the old center of Anping, in a small street, no traffic. From the balcony you can see the marina, and directly opposite the building there is a Buddhist temple which is illuminated at night and offers an incredible view from the room. The host does not speak English, so we used Google Translator Voice. It was funny at the beginning, but then it worked perfectly. We had long conversations about local traditions, culture, gastronomy and the general situation in the country. It was a beautiful experience like living with a family or friends. I loved this place and Tainan especially because of the kindness of the people.
