Everything was beyond perfect. I love the seclusion of the island. The first highlight is the ride to the boat pier and the boat ride to the island through Lake Bunyonyi. The welcome by the staff is warm and honest. The property is fully self-sustaining, so if you're not a fan of outdoor latrines, be prepared ;) Hot showers are available but need about an hour preparation time. The staff really goes out of their way to accommodate all your wishes and make you feel right at home. I recommend staying in their geo domes as it is an experience you will never forget. The menu at their "canteen" is a dream for vegetarians. Just the perfect place to relax and switch off for a few days. They organize tours to other islands as well, which I didn't try as I just wanted to relax for a few days before heading to the hustling streets of Kampala. They also organized a gorilla track for me in Bwindi at very short notice, which they made into the perfect day and memorable experience. Thanks again for everything 🙏

The owner was helpful and friendly, she contact me before my trip on whatsapp, and gived good information. The accomodation is a new builded house, beutifull. The breakfast and the dinnervwas tasty a plenty. The accomodation is near the gorilla track meeting point. The owner put the fire to dry the wet shoos for the next day gorilla track. I can recommend the accomodation, Make sure you choose this one

The view from the patio is breathtaking, and the Villa is well equipped with everything you need. I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.

It was stunning. We’re so happy we got the room with the balcony because it had such a beautiful view and we really enjoyed staying out there. Everyone there was lovely and helpful- when we got a flat tire, they found someone (affordable) to quickly fix it for us. And the food is incredible! We are vegetarians and we had lunch and dinner (and breakfast the following morning) and it was delicious and so memorable. Make sure to bring a flashlight, it’s dark at night! And you need to be able to walk up and down lots of steps.

Comfortable bed with mosquito net, very calm and safe neighbourhood. Hard to find because Google Maps and OpenStreetMap have non-existing roads in Kabale. From the main road, first go to "Makanga Golf Course Polling Post", and from there continue to the hotel.
