I had to delay my check-in due to my child being sick, and Kari was incredibly prompt and helpful in resolving the issue. The room was very clean, and although the bedroom faces the street, it was surprisingly quiet. This is a very safe neighborhood, with a park right across the street. It's also very close to the old town center and perfect for walking, with street parking available. The house is well-equipped with various amenities, making our stay very convenient and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience staying in this charming Victorian-style home—many thanks to the host!

Perfect location to downtown Joshua Tree shops, restaurants, coffee shops and entrance to the park. Spotlessly clean, well organised, fully fitted and highly functional kitchen with the best view, cosy lounge area with fire place, comfy bed and white cotton linen with wonderfully dreamy pillows. White fluffy towels and bathrobes. Cute bathtubs and private hot tub outside. Dear Hilary thought of literally everything to make the stay as comfortable and amazing as possible. We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and the star gazing from the hot tub at night , or simply lazing on the hammock enjoying sunset and stars. Having a good coffee in the morning on the back porch, in very comfortable chairs, paging through some of the many informative books left for us or watching the cute cottontail bunnies, hummingbirds and other wildlife roaming around. What a beautiful way to start the day. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommend, don't even look any further !! Big Sur Campground and Cabins is a 3-star property located in Big Sur. The property features mountain and river views. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Stayed in A-frame cabin #B, and it was beautiful. I loved the architecture and outside miss on the slanted roof. I was pleasantly surprised about all the things it included, as the pictures weren't clear. But it had a full bathroom, small but very clean shower, hot water and good pressure, full small kitchen with microwave, gas stove, all the utensils and plates etc you'll need! (I wish those amenities were clear before I packed so much!) Comfy clean beds and nice dimmer lighting. Also had 4 chairs outside on balcony to enjoy the redwood views. It also had a fire pit and table outside, in addition to the wood burning stove inside. Stayed mid Nov and didn't need heater on, it was great temperature inside with just a hoodie/blankets for sleeping. The camp ground was actually small, which I liked as well. Quiet nights of people in cabins, RVs, and tents around. I also appreciated the free mugs and coffee/cocoa, the fire logs. The staff were nice and informative as well, very pleasant, thank you! Definitely worth asking what is included in your stay, as it may be different depending on what you reserve.
