Spacious and comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitchen, excellent staff (they even let us check in early). Perfect location, plus billiards and a pool. Everything was just wonderful!

Highly recommended for anyone who loves wildlife and enjoys deep, thoughtful conversations with smart and insightful people. I actually saw more birds and animals around this place than in Yosemite itself! The hosts used to be park rangers, so they have incredible knowledge about all the local wildlife — it was amazing for identifying species and learning more about them. Beyond that, our conversations went far beyond small talk — they were genuinely intellectual and engaging, which I really appreciated. The room was spotless, and the view from it was absolutely stunning. Since the hosts are former rangers, they also gave us fantastic daily advice for our trips, which was incredibly helpful.

The location is excellent — only a 10-minute walk from metro. Despite being close to city center, the place feels like a peaceful and cozy oasis. The house is very charming, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed was available, and our stay was wonderful. Highly recommended!

We loved this accomodation which was very different from the other ones of our trip. The hostess was very kind with us. The dwelling is an alliance between antique furniture (as the name "Victorean" suggests) and all the comfort you may expect (bed, kitchen equipments, bathroom). Before coming, we confess to have been a little bit anxious about Sacramento according to its reputation, but the neighbourhood seems safe and we had a quiet stay.

I really appreciated the keyless entry using the last 4 digits of my phone number, which made check-in and out so easy. The in-room espresso machine and kettle were perfect touches, and I loved that they provided natural tar remover pads—so thoughtful for Santa Barbara’s beaches! 10/10—can’t wait to stay here again!
