The host is super nice and goes above and beyond with their service. We can pick fresh fruits from the surrounding fruit trees! Although we don't have time to pick them ourselves, the host has picked them for us!! Plus, there's a pool, an awesome spot to check out the sea view, and a BBQ grill. Totally loved it!

The hosts were lovely and gave us local tips (one of them is a ranger at the national park). The room was so carefully appointed and the breakfast was fantastic, with so much food and a great variety. The garden outside the room was lovely too.

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.

It’s completely off grid and still super cute, cozy, and comfortable with everything we needed. This was the perfect spot to stay while exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

It is immaculately clean, in a perfect location for traveling the island, and across the street from the beach.
