It was peaceful yet close to New York City. When we arrived, the apartment was clean and tidy. The washing machine was as vast and fast as the dryer. We were in higher comfort than we would be in a five-star hotel. When we go to New York next time, we choose Harmony Apartments again, because we enjoyed staying there.

The Bedford Inn is a 10-room Victorian Bed & Breakfast a block from Cape May's pristine beaches and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and other activities. There is free on-site and street parking available. Excellent breakfast. The owners made accommodations for my gluten/dairy/meat free diet, and the food was still great! The room was super comfortable and had everything we needed. Bathroom was small but well stocked. Complimentary Wine and cheese and cookies and lemonade on the two days we were there. Coffee was ready at 6am so I could grab a little before my morning run on the boardwalk. The Inn was only about a block from the boardwalk. The Washington street mall was a shirt walk away.

The property is a typical Cape May style, but with personal touches by our host. The breakfast was something else, huge portions, two courses and every day a different delish delightful homemade fabulous start to the day. Our room was spacious and clean and the views were wonderful. The location is perfect to walk to everything that we needed in Cape May, with the marina for the lobster house a few mins away in a car - we took a cab.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Wildwood Beach is 300 metres away. How close it was to the board walk and really anything else. The laundry was close by our room as well. It was quiet at night so my youngest could rest. I had an unexpected death in the family and our original stay was from June 28th until July 13th. I contacted the owner because our check in was on a Saturday and my grandfather's viewing and funeral wasnt until Monday and Tuesday and she was so sweet and kind and helpful! I thought all was lost or we would get in trouble or loose our reservation for our vacation but that was not at all the case!! She gave her condolences and offered a refund for what would be the unused days and that meant the most to us as a family as well as her doing a great job with communication! Everyone should definitely stay here when being in the area, its extremely affordable and the owner is so sweet!!! The place was also very clean!!! Only place we will go back to now.
