The breakfast’s were delicious and so beautifully presented. Our room was charming but i may choose a larger one next time and one on the second floor. Not too many choices for dinner in Woodstock and my one regret is not dinning at the inn. Friends had made a reservation elsewhere. The staff were all so friendly and we were lucky enough to meet Heather the inn keeper. She has a great story and has done a fabulous job making the inn a place we will surely visit again.

Everything seems like it was high quality and you can tell the owners put love into the renovation. Lots of space for a couples weekend or weekend with the family. Pet friendly as well. This was our first time in Vermont & and we’ll definitely be booking this property again!

Magical Retreat Cottage, Autumn Colors and Waterfalls - Vermont Getaway está ubicado en South Newfane y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado, pileta privada, balcón y vista al río. The cabin is situated in the Green Mountains in a clearing in the trees giving the feeling of isolation although there are other properties nearby. It is beautifully designed with an open plan kitchen/living space and double bedroom downstairs as well as another double bedroom in the loft space. It is bright and very well appointed with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom (on the ground floor) with plenty of hot water and towels for the shower and the kitchen is very thoughtfully equipped with plenty of cooking pots, bowls and utensils, coffee maker, full stove and microwave. We loved that Gene and Mary had left the makings for pancakes and maple syrup for our breakfast. There is a deck with table and chairs where you can sit and watch the birds in the woods. Just at the end of the driveway there is a small waterfall and pool in the river where you can have a dip on a hot day. The cabin is locked by means of a digital keypad which means no worries about keys. We received detailed directions on how to reach the property from Gene who also gave us tips on where to shop on our way in and local places to visit. We had a really relaxing few days here and would definitely recommend the Magical Retreat Cottage.

The house is very spacious, especially for a solo traveler like me. It actually has 2 bedrooms. It’s very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Eric was nice and very responsive.
