The no.14 electric trolley bus was a short walk from the property and took us direct to Pike St. The owners live on site and they were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the property's outside space including the pickleball court. The Leschi Market was a very short drive great for the evenings we chose to eat in. There were good local restaurants for breakfast and dinner too.

After a long day at the airport waiting for my luggage, I arrived at Villa Rivarola late in the evening, feeling tired and frustrated. However, Sophie and Pedro were like angels on that rainy Christmas night. They welcomed us with such warmth that it instantly felt like home. The room was spotlessly clean, cozy, and gave off a comforting, homely vibe. Since all the nearby restaurants were closed for the evening, Sophie went out of her way to cook a meal for us herself. We are deeply grateful to them for making us feel the kindness and warmth of humanity, even while far from home, on such a special day.
