The food is really tasty as well and the dogs and cats are so cute. There is complementary water, laundry, coconuts and even a motorcycle. Would recommend to anyone and if I'm in the area I will definitely come back!

Wow!! What a special spot. After three months in Vietnam this was my favourite homestay experience. It's a very well-run and organized homestay, that also feels quite relaxed and informal. It's a family-run homestay, and Ms Amy and Mr Hieu are incredible people - so kind, warm, funny, and interesting. Meals were delicious, and had good variety. They were able to accommodate a vegan diet (though double check about each dish at mealtime). I enjoyed the family-style format, and loved the you could join in and learn from the cooking. Free water refills. Transportation from the bus stop to the hostel, lunches, and dinner, and beers were all reasonably priced. The river activity/excursion was a BLAST and excellent value. Activities and famil-style meals and common spaces mean lot of opportunities to connect with the family and with other travellers. The free bikes were in decent shape (nothing fancy needed since the area is flat and the roads are good). Accomodations and facilities are rustic but tidy and well kept. Cool to see traditional building styles. Dorms only four beds in a room so pretty quiet. Bed was clean and comfortable. A few sweet dogs and cats around. The surrounding community is peaceful and the coconut tree farms are beautiful.

I had an amazing stay at La Villa de Coco Ben Tre, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the relaxing atmosphere and peaceful surroundings made me feel at home. I stayed in the Let Go Room, which was beautifully designed with comfort and simplicity in mind—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. One of the highlights of my stay was the adorable Linh, who was so warm and welcoming. Her kindness and hospitality truly made the experience special. The food here is also fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and full of local charm. Every meal felt like a home-cooked delight, adding to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with great food, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful people, La Villa de Coco Ben Tre is the perfect place.

The neighbourhood and the homestay are so peaceful and lovely. The room was simple but very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the garden and the food. We did a half day cycling and rowing boat tour and it was simply stunning. Cuong and his mother are super lovely and made us feel like part of the family. We would come back any time (and will soon, hopefully) and can just recommend to everyone reading this to stay here for as long as possible.

Breakfast was delicious. Fried rice, noodles soup, and bread were delightful . The light and fluffy bread was the best!! The traditional Vietnamese dinner was very tasty. We had the cooked fish in the pot and pumpkin soup with minced pork. The fried tofu with tomato sauce was as delicious. The location was a great place to feel Mother Nature like morning rooster calling, to see the cacao fruits, bananas, jackfruits, coconuts, pomelos, green tangerines, and cool shades made by the trees. People are so friendly. I highly recommend this Homestay to families and friends. Minh, Minh’s mom, younger brother Kha and the helper lady were all so helpful and friendly. They were so easy to talk with. My husband and I felt very comfortable and relaxed at this peaceful and quiet place. Also very convenient by bicycle to the local restaurants. The side streets restaurants noodles soup were all delicious!!! Definitely will use this place again. Minh THANK YOU!
