Human, the owner, is the absolutely best host ever! He is incredibly attentive to his guests and is always there to answer your questions, guide you or simply share his knowledge about Vietnam. The location for this gem is great…you’re in a small village close to the city but it feels quite rural. We stayed 4 nights and felt very spoiled the entire time. The meals, delicious and varied, are cooked by his mother and included in the price. The bungalows are basic but comfortable and clean and the mosquito nets are very welcome. There is a nice space outside each bungalow to relax. There is no air conditioning but we found the fans he provided sufficient. His free bikes are in good condition…the best we had in Vietnam. We don’t usually do a lot of guided trips, preferring to explore on our own, but we were SO glad we did one with Human to the floating markets, noodle factory and land market. It was awesome and personal . We were alone with him and the boatman, a family member, and Human is wealth of information and speaks English very well. We were so glad not to be on one of the bigger impersonal commercial boats! I can’t say enough good things about Human and this homestay. It was my favourite 4 days in Vietnam!

We were received and hosted by the owner, Martin, "the German in the Mekong Delta" and all his lovely dogs. He really makes an effort for you to have a great experience in what he calls 'his paradise'. You can experience the real rural Vietnam, in a location away from the main tourist areas. The food is great, and the table is set up in a way that promotes conversation with other guests, so you get a very nice family atmosphere. We took one of the bungalows, which was very spacious and the terrace was great.

Room was spacious, very comfortable bed, nice little balcony. We could use rooftop to enjoy our evenings. Whole object was nice and clean, made with style. There was a coffee and tea machine at the lobby which we could use and also a fridge where every room had its own space. We also could use free bikes to have nice afternoon ride. Perfect stay, we wish we could be there longer. We also went on a boat trip (there were 3 options to choose from), which was just amazing, our guide was really lovely! It was added to the bill which we payed on check-out, it was really convenient. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!!!

Staying with Bosa and his family has been the highlight of our Vietnam trip. They made us feel very welcome and gave us a good insight into real Vietnamese life - not the tourist version. The house is amazing. Sitting on the deck watching the river was very relaxing. It was a great contrast from Ho Chi Minh City, our previous destination. Bosa was our guide for a day doing floating markets, markets and city. It was great to be with a local host as it didn’t feel touristy. Phoenix’s home cooked meals were amazing - the best food in Vietnam. Definitely a highlight.

So dreamy and beautiful! This place was on my bucket list and I’m so glad we stayed here! The water front villa was stunning, dinner was yummy and staff was super helpful. They also organised for us the floating market trip and it was so worth it! Love love love!!
