We had dinner with the family the second night. Food was great and we learned a lot about the area. The host has great English. Room was spotless and beds very comfy...location at the edge of town was perfect for us. We were on motorcycles and could safely park our bikes at the house.

The woman who runs the place was so sweet, complimentary, warm. Helped me with whatever I needed, despite the language barrier. She was patient, no issue using Google Translate. I was here for New Year’s Eve and she even had a little gift for me!

She was kind enough to make sure that there was a place for us to rest after we got there at 4:30 off a sleeper bus. Even though there was a language barrier she was also instructed us on exactly how to get to and from the Ban Gioc waterfall and helped us in many other ways. I cannot recommend enough.

The hotel is brand new and the building is great. I stayed in dorm and it was perfect — very spacious, modern, with cool design and nice terrace. One of the best dorms in my whole travel life. They provide water, towels and slippers. Shower was so clean and comfortable. They make cleaning everyday and even change towels. Bed is very convenient and the idea with box behind your head is so nice. Hotel has elevator. On the 6th floor there’s some open space and on the 1st floor there’s boiler and cooler that you can use. The hosts are very kind and caring people who are always ready to help. I was lucky and had a bonus here — all 3 days I’ve been alone in 8 beds dorm. I felt like in very good hotel. Thank you so much! Must stay place in Cao Bang <3

Wonderful spot to swim close by. The owners were some of the nicest and joyful ethnic peoples I had stayed with. Did a trek with one of the owners. We all had dinner together as a family. I loved it so much I went back twice on my travels
