The intermittent weak water pressure was like a rhythmic dance of nature that mirrored our journey during the Buffalo trek. It was a testament to the harmony between the elements, where the mesmerizing landscapes and cultural insights flowed seamlessly, despite the occasional variations in water pressure. We left with a sense of belonging, as if we had become honorary Hmong members during our stay.

Everything was clean, and at night, the place looked like a little fairy-tale village. Food was quite good and reasonably priced.

Mao and all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible experience! The room and view was outstanding. A nice perk was that breakfast was included (I got fruit and french toast one day & a banana crepe the next). We ate dinner there and it was one of the best meals I’ve had (tofu and rice). The location is out of the way of Sa Pa town but it was nice because it was quiet & had a great view! The bed was HUGE- check out the attached photo- my husband is 6’1” for reference.
