I loved it! Even though I was only there for one night, I'd recommend anyone staying there. Yes, the accommodation is basic, yes it's far away from everything, but the bus can drop you off at the closest intersection. From there it's a 5 minutes walk. I enjoyed everything. The host is so friendly, the view is amazing, bed's cozy, everything.

A great place to stay while hiking the Camino Real. The pool was very refreshing after a long day in hot temperatures. I had the whole place to myself, and the meals were delicious. They have one private room, and several hammocks to sleep in. Can recommend.

Friendly staff, who helped us with everything we needed. Amazing quiet place in the middle of the nature with a beautiful garden with many birds and a nice swimming pool. They offer a Turkish steam bath service, which was really relaxing. The garden offers many places to relax. Many restaurants in San Gil have a delivery service to this hostel. The surrounding is great for walking and birdwatching. We had a private kitchen next to our room. The hotel dog is the sweetest dog ever!

We originally stayed at the hotel one night but enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second. The hotel is conveniently located just outside of San Gil. The room was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had hot water which is a great bonus when traveling in the more rural areas. The food was excellent and affordable. We want to thank Mauricio who made us feel like home and made our stay very enjoyable.
