An excellent nature getaway - super private, well equipped and set out!

The host was the nicest and friendliest host we have ever met. She was really kind, always smiling and we felt very welcome. The location itself is very quiet and calm. Sauna was relaxing and when heating up the sauna in the evening, the room stays warm until the morning (even with minus degrees outside). Bed/couch was comfortable (unless you like very soft bed) and we slept very well. The house has a kettle, stove, pan, plates, cups and cutlery, so everything basic that one might need when cooking and eating. Barbeque grill and necessary tools for it were also available. Also our dog was welcome upon prior notice and I really appreciate it. Overall experience was perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything was fantastic really with the sauna house, an atmospheric wooden sauna with two large beds and 2 small ones. It was high summer so decided to sleep on the upper floor, as the lower floor gets a bit hot for sleeping after sauna. There is a small kichen-corner in the lower floor with kettle for boiling water and a small fridge, plus cutlery, plates and cups. For heating food, you can make a fire in the grill outside, for which firewood is provided, together with flammable liquid, torch and tinders for starting the fire. There is a table for eating outside next to the grill. The surroundings are just fantastic, peaceful green countryside with gracefully sloping landscape. There are fatbikes to explore the surrounding national park, and several attractions nearby, like the national park visitor centre with a few exhibits next to a lake where you can also swim and go on a hiking trail, and an observation tower in another direction from the house. But the best part is just taking the small back roads on the bike and enjoy the landscape. In the middle of the summer there are lots of mosquitoes so bring repellent, fortunately the house has mosquito nets that dont let them inside. If you are very light sleeper like me I advise to still bring earplugs because in the morning there are a few cars driving on the nearby gravel road which you can hear. It is recommended to get the jacuzzi for extra charge also, especially in colder weather - it is perfect after sauna or just by itself. The sauna itself is ideal if you prefer temperature not too extreme, as it hovers around 60 degrees, if you want it hotter you should start heating it more than 3 hours in advance probably.

Perfect location, very clean, very well equipped with nice little things, a huge, modern kitchen, very friendly owner. All in all: best accomodation we had in any Baltic state.

The location was perfect for our travel. We didn't expect much, but were really pleased to find such level of comfort and cleanlilness. The place is perfect who wants to feel the authenticity of living in an old barn house, yet doesn't want to deny oneself of the pleausre of modern/ comfortable facilities. The hospitality and attention of the ownder/ host of this place was just right. Will deffinitely recommend to my friends and will probably come there once more for a longer period.
