It was a very pleasant stay- Rooms were clean and neat, we could take a nice hot shower after a long trip. What’s more- host was very welcoming and prepared delicious food for us. We definitely felt taken care of. Obviously views were breathtaking and I can recommend staying in this płace!

What an incredible stay in this magical part of the world. Staying in such an old building with so much history is a must-do and we were so thankful we stayed here. Family run, we got to meet everyone and chat and hear about their lives. They have cows as well and it’s so interesting to watch them bring them back to the house each day. The family picked us up from Mestia and dropped us back early for a connecting bus to Tbilisi. Like all the other reviewers, the food is restaurant quality - outstanding! And you will leave having tasted nearly all of Georgias authentic dishes. It’s amazing! Thank you for an amazing stay 😌

We spent the whole day looking for a hotel and settled on Babi & Tata's House. 1) It was in Ushguli 2) It was inexpensive and our budget allowed it 3) And it looked very cozy. And we weren't wrong! Unlike new buildings made according to European standards, it was actually built on the foundations of ancient towers. Animals graze below. Nearby, 20 meters - there is a river. The beds are very soft and comfortable. We came for 1 night but stayed for 4! The feeling that you arrive at the Black Castle in the Game of Thrones, where the buildings are over 1000 years old. The hotel is very new, we were the second guests here, we really liked that it is not noisy here. There is hot water in the shower, although in the capital, Tbilisi, it is not always available. It turned out that Babi and Tata are teenage girls. They opened a family hotel with their mother Mzea. They speak excellent English! In addition, they took great care of us. Believe me, this is a big difference when compared with European hotels. Breakfast and dinner were very plentiful and delicious! It was a real holiday! There are not many hotels in this part of Ushguli yet, and we enjoyed the silence and solitude.

Very nice place inside the old village of ushguli. The host lady does not speak English but her son and daughter speak English very well. We had both dinner and breakfast (very aboundant), everything was freshly made and good! They also offered a horse tour that you can do by yourself or with the guide. Very recommended

Very nice house, great location and very clean. The owners do everything to make you feel like home. The room was new, with own bathroom, which is difficult to find in Ushguli. Breakfast and dinner was also good- more than we could eat 😀 Thank you so much for a wonderful time in beautiful Ushguli ❤️

Great place to stay in Ushguli, delicious breakfasts, of course with warm khachapuri. Great location with a wonderful view of Ushguli and Sahkhra Glacier. Very comfortable beds in which we slept very well. The owner Maya was very helpful, she quickly arranged a cheaper transport to Mestia for us when we found out that our driver was not coming. I highly recommend :)
