Beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel a few minutes outside Gythio. George was superb on the front desk and a great help with local info. Delicious breakfast wonderfully served in my lovely room. Great little terrace and a lovely pair of daybeds just inside which must be lovely in the summer. Perfect place to await the ferry to Crete

The Writer's House hotel suropassed all our expectations. Christos and the rest of the staff were just lovely and welcoming, and offered tons of great recommendations and useful information. The room itself was beautiful, bigger than we expected by the pictures, so confortable and spotlessly clean. Githion itself is a very nice coastal town and one of the stops we enjoyed the most during our trip around the Peloponese (thanks in part to the recommendations from the hotel staff!). Parking was easy in the streets around the hotel (at least at the end of June). We would have stayed longer if we could, and we'd definitely be back to this hotel if we come back to Githion.

Lovely friendly staff made it a real pleasure to return back each day. It was the perfect distance from the centre so you could walk off a big meal. :) Really wonderful stay and great rooms with incredible views.

Very beautiful garden with pool. The rooms have a good size and a big balcony. It was very clean . The beach is about 300 m away and after a 15 minutes walk up the hill you can reach the village where you can find some restaurants. The staff was very friendly, they offer a small breakfast for free . There is also the possibility to buy drinks and food which you can enjoy at the pool area.

The check in was easy and the photos of the property do not do it justice! The room has a lovely sea view,m with a large and relaxing covered terrace, the entire suite spacious enough and provides a decent cooking experience. We stayed for one night and really enjoyed the location close to Gytheio, the lovely swimming pool, the generous breakfast, and the private beach. We were traveling with a baby and appreciated the crib provided. Overall, the hotel is very child-friendly and welcoming.
