Cheap hotels in Selong

We loved our week here and wanted to stay forever, the room has been beautifully built and came with a comfy big bed and duvet, the balcony up top with the beanbags was a unique touch and wonderful to relax and look over the volcano, the shower has hot water too! the village has just opened for tourism and has really nice waterfalls away from the regularly visited ones near by. The owners were the most welcoming people we’ve met and really made us feel like part of the family. They also offer guides who are extremely friendly and speak good English to the the waterfalls and volcano, we will be back to make the hike when the season starts again (April- December)

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

We came here looking for understanding of everyday Indonesian life and left with amazing friend and stories. I advise everyone to spend here more than one night as it will allow you to take part in more activities and fully experience the everyday life. People in the village are not used to tourists yet so they were surprised by us being there. They were all very nice, welcoming, funny and just overall great people. Breakfast pancakes are way better than all the hotel breakfasts that I had in Indonesia. The host also gave us a cooking lesson which was an amazing experience! Overall, here you will be able to meet amazing and interesting people, explore true life of Indonesia, feel their culture and be part of a journey which you will tell to all your friends. I deeply recommend it, if you have the right eyes for such beauty!

The place feels like home. Everything was good and manageable. Owner is friendly, We have chit chat with owner and he share good information about location around as we are first time coming here. There is many mosque around..., so you will be wake up around 5am. as a muslim, we do not have any issue with those mosque speaker. Room is quite spacious and perfect with our budget. There is wifi connection as well. Until we meet again😁

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well finished. All the furnishings and fittings are high quality. There was attention to detail in its construction. The apartment is cosy and feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The grounds are well kept, and the location is peaceful. The staff were helpful and professional.

The area is divided by sections, there is a resting spot to read a book or just relax, there is also a communal area where you can chat with the team while they are cooking, and the sleeping area in the middle of the nature located with beautiful views. All very clean ☺️

I recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at this hidden gem in Tete Batu, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best accommodations I've experienced in Lombok. I couldn't find any other place as beautiful and tranquil as this one, and the price is unbelievably affordable. From the moment we arrived, the host, Robi, made us feel right at home. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us, from renting a scooter at a fair price to offering valuable advice on what to visit nearby and planning our itinerary. His hospitality truly made our stay memorable. The room itself was spacious, boasting a minimalistic modern design that felt both cozy and stylish. It had everything we needed, including a desk perfect for remote work. While the internet was a bit spotty at times, it was manageable and didn’t detract from our overall experience. The bed was exceptionally comfortable – we had some of the best sleep during our trip here. A standout feature was the outdoor bathroom, which was not only beautifully designed but also functional, with good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was absolutely delicious, setting us up perfectly for a day of exploration. Additionally, the small cooking area on-site provided tasty dishes whenever we wanted a meal. The accommodation is quite new, which might explain why there aren’t many reviews yet, but trust me, this place deserves all the praise. It’s truly a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tete Batu area. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Lombok!
