The Avalon is my first choice of hotel when visiting my family in Kilkenny. The rooms are really comfortable and tastefully decorated, the inclusion of a coffee machine is very welcome. The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff are wonderful, so kind and friendly. I would really recommend breakfast, a good selection of local produce really well cooked and served. The location is great. Walking distance from the main attractions. There's a pretty large open air space for your car right in front of the place (you just need an app to pay, very easy). The room is cozy and warm. The staff is great! I travel a lot for work and pleasure, strongly recommend this :)
