The Avalon is my first choice of hotel when visiting my family in Kilkenny. The rooms are really comfortable and tastefully decorated, the inclusion of a coffee machine is very welcome. The hotel has a very homely atmosphere and the staff are wonderful, so kind and friendly. I would really recommend breakfast, a good selection of local produce really well cooked and served. The property is a beautiful manor set in a luscious garden/forest. I loved the space in the room, the facilities provided including the large bath and the hosts kindness and providence. An absolutely gorgeous little apartment with everything you need. The decor was beautiful and very well organised to make the most of the space. The bed was a so comfortable with a lovely soft throw for added comfort. There's even a patio with table and chairs for your morning coffee in the sunshine! Our dog loved it too. 🐶We would highly recommend the Cosy Nest! Perfect location in a very nice area of Kilkenny.
