Like a time-travel 100 years ago - and to a future of sustainability, responsibility and common sense, simultanously. The house is neighboured and sitting on and surrounded by an organic farm, run by the smartest and kindest and most committed farmer and owner of the house you could think of. You will find a fresh bread on the table, butter in the shelf and milk at the fridge when you arrive and a heartfelt handshake by Eowin or one of his volunteers from „World of organic farming“ (WoOFers), living on the farm and helpful whenever needed. As the house was built by his grandparents, everything is decorated and equipped like they would still live there - but with a modern washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, freezer and fridge - all of that exceptionally high end Siemens machines or equivalent. A kitchen you can bake, cook, prepare small breakfast or prepare for big dinner parties and never run out of equipment.

Our amiable host Anne went out of her way to make our (too short) stay pleasant. We got a welcoming tea right upon our arrival and found our room to be not only pretty, but with very comfy beds and mattresses, a sparkling clean room and bathroom and lots of nice extras like hand lotion. The Irish breakfast was outstanding, it was our first one in this country and Anne had everything prepared freshly, even the bread was home-baked by her. The rural area makes for a wonderful deep sleep and we will definitely recommend this place and top on our list of places to stay again and for longer then! It is a very warm and welcoming house that displays genuine Irish spirit and a tasteful decoration all over, too!

The staff was exceptional. They were so helpful. We sat in the bar one evening, and they started a fire in the fireplace to be sure we were comfortable. Overall, the best service ever.
