Nice and quiet village perfectly situated to explore the surroundings. Very nice personel, and the breakfast was enormous! The room was big and cosy, and the bathroom was perfect. Very short way to Rathcroghan, the Celtic site with enthrilling excavations and information about Ireland in prehistory. Many places to visit within a short drive, which suited us very good. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely quiet, cosy cottage. Within a few minutes walk of everywhere in the town. Great location. The hosts were so welcoming and made my stay in Carrick on Shannon very special. Will hope to be back someday!
