The owners of knockrobin cottage are so friendly, warm and kind! It’s like you are staying with family! They make proper breakfast for you, give lovely advice where to go in the surrounding of wicklow! And are always in for a nice chat! We really recommend people to stay here! It was so convenient to hop into the car and go to greystones as it was only a ten minute drive. We also loved the view of the garden in the back and we enjoyed being in our own space. Everything was provided for and it was like a hotel in a house.

Absolutely EVERYTHING, I am just sorry to be traveling solo this time and not with my wife and our baby boy accompanying! I think I got lucky enough to get offered the “suite” of the hotel, great room with big windows and views over the bay, bed with a mattress with a feeling like “sleeping in the clouds”, nice decoration. And the pub is simply LEGENDARY. The pub food is the best I have ever tried in Ireland (and I lived there for near 8 years before) both in quality and variety. I got also B&B and the breakfast was a la carte with no restrictions. The music live sessions going on every evening where simply class, great covers of all time classics. A true pleasure to enjoy there the grand finale of the Six Nations and Ireland’s historic Grand Slam. The hotel is at the Bray seafront within 5 minutes walking distance to the DART and close to many shops and the Main Street. The reception ladies were super polite and attentive and the young lads waiters were all courteous and kind. Rooms cleaned and serviced every day

After having a pretty different time, I decided to take myself away for 3 nights and I could not have chosen a better place. Secluded but with others near if needed. A little bench nessled within trees just outside my door. So close to the most beautiful little beach, cliff walk and town. The cottage is modern, clean and has everything you need..I slept like a baby. I will most definitely be back.
