All very clean, very friendly and welcoming. A lovely big Japanese room with clean futon sets. Onsen is not too big but clean and not too busy. The dinner and breakfast were so well made, with all local ingredients, could see and taste all prepared with great care. We also loved the fact that it was so healthy and not too heavy. Coffee at their lovely Japanese breakfast was a real bonus too!

The two people who ran the hotel were extremely nice and friendly, and their cats were also lovely to see. The area is very secluded and peaceful, very idyllic. The shuttle service between Yumoto-Onsen and the hotel was an absolute lifesaver.

This property is good for both family and friends or even solo. The rooms are Japanese tatami with attached sinks for washing hands, open up the folded futon beds and sleep on the floor like you are supposed to in a Japanese way. But toilets and baths are separate. We stayed with 3kids with a 8month old being the youngest and no trouble for hot water for milk preparation. The bath is the highlight feature of this accommodation. Two independent private onsen like rooms one having a Western bathtub and another having a traditional wooden tub. It's a faceless self-checkin and self checkout system. Read the QR code, receive the pin code then open the key holder and get the key and open the door. This facility also has a big kitchen with every utensil required for proper cooking along with a microwave oven and refrigerator. There are some beers and beverages including drip coffee powder and herb tea near the reception counter area in a small see through refrigerator. Pay via PayPal or Rpay or cash. All rooms have an oil heater and Aircon. It's best to use Aircon to avoid the kerosene smell from oil heaters. The balcony of 1F rooms open to a Zen garden like setup. They have a big private car parking lot. Half of their apple tree field is made to be a parking lot which is right in front of the property entrance. Nearest seven eleven is just around a corner (3-5mins by car) We felt this place is not a night stay and morning checkout only but rather a place to stay many nights and recharge and rejuvenate in the serene beauty and mountainous view with nature walk and fresh air and literally zero noise from civilization.
