I booked this hotel for a one-night stay after our flight was canceled and our journey home was delayed until the next day. I chose the hotel because of its location in a safe area with good shopping options. We had a spacious suite with a kitchen, and it was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast was really good. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant, which was good and reasonably priced. My kids had a quick swim in the pool, even though the weather wasn’t great, but it was a nice pool. The staff were very helpful, especially when it came to making sure we could get safely to the airport, as the city was shut down due to protests. I can definitely recommend this place.

Magnificent colonial house. Beautiful, huge room and a beautiful bathroom. A wonderful garden. Very good breakfast and the staff is more than helpful - will help with everything. Delicious breakfast. We felt like guest by a family not a tourists. If we come back to Nairobi, we will definitely go to Edaala.

Bernard and Jane are absolutely amazing. The level of commitment to making our stay exceptional and the genuine interest in our well-being is indescribable. Combining this with their excellent location, right next to an elephant orphanage, giraffe center, national park and the Karen Blixen museum, it makes the best option for wtay in Nairobi. What a special haven in a big city like Nairobi. You walk through the gates and it is like a different world. If you want a safe, lovely location with great value for money, and lovely friendly owners and staff then book here. The garden is amazing with all organic farming practices and the fresh food is delicious. There are even rabbits, goats, cats and other animals around. The rabbits and cats are always available for petting! We stayed in the deluxe apartment and it was so much more than we could have expected. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the staff made it a fabulous stay. I would not hesitate to recommend KLP for an authentic, comfortable stay in Nairobi.
