Capoe House is a wonderful villa with two room among terraced rice fields and mountains. Its hard to get there. The hotel offroad will pick you up in the village and bring you to an amazing place outside of civilization. The view from the room is breathtaking and the staff are amazingly nice and helpful and will do anything for you. The chef cooks just for you and the food is great (except for the beef :-))

This was my second time at Vantage Hills and reason is the absolutely superb view and hospitality. I honestly was looking for an alternative, just to be able to explore a new place, but could not find one with such an unique location. We've stayed in the new cabana, so even closer to the tea terraces. You can just sit on your balcony, sip cup of tea and and watch the beautiful scenery. Sooner or later, you can be sure to spot pickers plucking the tea by hand. If you fancy a walk, you just need to step out of your room and you can roam thru endless tea terraces at your will. The best part of the stay is having breakfast on the large terrace where you can immerse yourself in endless mountain views. You can also visit nearby Kelliebedde Tea Factory for a nice informative tea production tour, and refresh yourself in their lovely Tea Lounge. All in all, I like this place and location for keeping its authenticity. If you miss touristic hustle and bustle, Ella is a short drive from here.

Wow! We had a perfect 2 nights here! Saman is such a lovely and accommodating. He arranged a tuk tuk in the morning to visit Lipton Seat for sunrise and parked our rented tuk tuk safely by his home. The food here is incredible! We had the best curry and best Sri Lankan breakfast of our entire trip and all so reasonable. The views are breathtaking, shower lovely and hot and a very comfy bed. Nicely located just out of town, a short tuk tuk ride to the station. We couldn’t rate them higher :)

The property was in a beautiful and convenient location in Haputale. The room we stayed in had one of the best views I’ve ever seen. The prices were very reasonable. There were several food items to pick from the dinner and breakfast menus. Overall highly recommended for locals and tourists both!

We stayed at Adisham village home for 2 nights and were made very welcome by Samire and his lovely family. We were the first to stay in the newest family room and it was beautiful. Very spacious with our own dining table where our breakfast and dinner was served. The view from the balcony was spectacular and the place is away from the road so very quiet. Samire was happy to help us with any of our requests. We also used the services of their taxi with Mr Ajith who was a very kind and knowledgeable guide for our tour to Liptons seat. Highly recommended!

The owner Kalai is so lovely and helpful. The place is really clean and there is a kettle with free tea and water provided. It’s a really nice view from the property and just a short walk to a different viewpoints, one in particular about 1km from the property was great for sunrise! If you enjoy hiking, you can join sections of the pekoe trail from here and there is a nice restaurant a short walk away which has a good selection and is reasonably priced. Very relaxing!
